Metropolis has a Multiple Document Interface (MDI) which allows the user to have multiple windows open at the same time in a single application. This MDI offers several ways to manage multiple windows in Metropolis.
Selecting Windows -> Cascade from the menu bar will cascade your windows so the menu bars are all visible.
Tile vertical arranges your windows so that they are side by side, keeping the vertical height.
Tile horizontal arranges the windows on top of each other, favoring the horizontal width.
Close all will close all windows.
When your windows are minimized, they are called icons. Arrange icons will arrange them in a tight formation starting at the bottom left.
